I have png icons for my delphi xe3 application toolbar that when added to tactiontoolbar via timagelist the alpha channel is displayed brighter than it should, which is why the icons look bad. I think the problem is with timagelist but not with tactiontoolbar. Photoshop mockup: Real view after import into tactiontoolbar (alpha dark blue for download folders): Here are my delphi object inspector settings for timagelist (no, it's not the blendcolor property that hurts): Is there a way to force delphi/windows/who would not be the culprit of the correct display of the alpha channel? You can get all the icons as bitmaps, but i refused to submit by editing bitmaps with a transparent color, because, well, i'm not planning to go back to the time of the dinosaurs ...
